SHREWSBURY (CBS) – An elderly woman was killed in her Shrewsbury home and her elderly husband has been arrested and charged with murder.

The Worcester District Attorney’s office says Yuee Zhou was found on the floor of a bedroom covered in blood at the Shrewsbury Green apartments.

Her husband, Jieming Liu was found in the home with blood on his hands and face. He was brought to the Shrewsbury Police station where he was later arrested and charged with murder.

Liu will be arraigned Friday in Westborough District Court.
