National Guard Helicopters Respond To Brimfield Brush Fire
BRIMFIELD (CBS) – A large brush fire was burning in Brimfield Wednesday. Firefighters had the blaze under control but it flared back up shortly after.
Fire officials say over 20 acres have burned so far.
Helicopters from the National Guard were called in to drop water on the fire.
The area is especially vulnerable because there are a lot of dead trees and debris from last year's tornado.
