BOSTON (CBS) – Wine lovers from across New England will be heading to the South End this weekend.

Dan Andelman has a preview of the Phantom Gourmet Wine and Food Phest.

This weekend, the Phantom Gourmet will uncork a one-of-a-kind celebration, the Phantom Gourmet Wine and Food Phest.

Wine snobs need not apply.

For the first time ever, we’ve hand-picked 30 outstanding wines to compliment 10 of Phantom’s favorite foods.

It’s delicious, it’s all in one place, and it’s all included – red wine, white wine, sparkling wine, blends, roses, even dessert wines!

Plus, we’re sampling an assortment of gourmet cheeses, and high-end chocolates, Cabby Shack clam chowder, Harrows chicken pie, Chicago-style hot dogs from Windy City Eats, cupcakes from Cakes by Erin, Black Tie cookies and Wicked Kickin’ savory cheesecakes.

The Phantom Gourmet Wine and Food Phest is Saturday at the Boston Center for the Arts. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the event.
