'Front Row' Live Music Pick From Bradley Jay

BOSTON (CBS) - Philly based band The War On Drugs is the prodigy two Bob Dylan fanatics, Adam Granduciel, who is originally from Dover Massachusetts, and the great Kurt Vile. Vile left to chase a solo dream, but the band soldiered on and they will appear at the Middle East Downstairs on April 7th.

The band combines the lyrical style of Dylan with a wall of sound that Sonic Youth fans are likely go wild for. Think Tom Petty meets My Bloody Valentine meets Bob Dylan. If you have not been to a rock show in a while, the Middle East Downstairs is still the funky gem it has always been, and the War On Drugs show promises to be epic.

I hope to see you in the front row.
