Police: Suspicious Envelope At Otis Base Posed No Threat
BOURNE (CBS) - Authorities with the FBI, along with state and local police, found that a suspicious envelope dropped off at a clinic on the Massachusetts Military Reservation's Otis Base on Wednesday afternoon posed no threat.
The envelope was discovered around 1:20 p.m.
By 5:30 p.m., authorities said they found the envelope contained no hazardous materials.
Crews with the State Police Bomb Unit and Mass. Military Reservation fire department also responded to the scene.
