Opening day is just a day over a week away and the Red Sox are making some roster moves while they’re down in Florida.
Tuesday the Sox announced that they were sending Jose Iglesias down to Triple-A to start the season.
Peter Abraham spoke with Toucher & Rich about Iglesias being sent down to the minors, Daniel Bards role in the rotation, Ben Cherington and comments from Curt Schilling.
Jose Iglesias’ offense was named as the main reason why he got sent down to Triple-A, but how long will he be there. Is there too much being made of this move?
Did Ben Cherington and Bobby Valentine really bump heads on this matter or is it just people looking for controversy?
The Sox have also confirmed that Daniel Bard will start the season in the rotation, but is that really where he should be?
Plus former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling made comments that players are over new manager Bobby V. already. Does Schilling even talk to any players in that clubhouse?
