Zdeno Chara shares a moment with The Bear in the Bruins’ newest video (Screen shot from BostonBruins.com)
BOSTON (CBS) — What’s the hottest new fake show on television? Just ask the Boston Bruins.
Several players, along with other famed folks attached to the Bruins, starred in a new mock opening to a sitcom titled The Bear & The Gang.
The video features “The Bear,” who’s become a bit of a superstar thanks to his “Bruins rules” commercials over the years.
The video also stars Brad Marchand playing Rocks, Paper, Scissors with play-by-play man Jack Edwards, Rene Rancourt showing off his trademark fist pump, Tyler Seguin building a house of cards, Shawn Thornton preparing for some karate (and cracking up), Andrew Ference creating an earth science project, Johnny Boychuk staring into space and Claude Julien dropping a series of what look to be profanities at an unfortunate referee.
Yes, it’s every bit as wacky as it sounds.
Check it out on the Bruins’ official website.
