MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) - Police have arrested a woman believed to be involved with the shooting of a Manchester, New Hampshire police officer.

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Jennifer Whitfield, who is believed to have driven Myles Webster to the crime scene Wednesday night.

Police had an arrest warrant out for Whitfield because she failed to return a rental car. Police believe Whitfield drove Webster to the scene in a Hyundai Sonata, which was rented.

Webster is being held on $1 million bail for the attempted murder of Officer Daniel Doherty. The 22-year-old man allegedly shot 15 rounds at Doherty, who was hit multiple times.

Doherty remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
