BILLERICA (CBS) – A boy crossing the road in Billerica was struck by a box truck and an SUV Thursday afternoon.

Aerial video showed the box truck and SUV stopped on the Middlesex Turnpike near Marshall Street. The road was closed while police investigated the accident.

The boy was airlifted to a Boston hospital with very serious injuries.
