BOSTON (CBS) – Celtics captain Paul Pierce expects a packed house when Boston hosts the Miami Heat on April 1st.
That is why he is raffling off his personal suite for the game, with the proceeds going to The Truth Fund.
One lucky fan and 11 friends will get to take over Pierce’s suite for the big Eastern Conference matchup, with $500 worth of in-suite food and beverages, a Paul Pierce activity watch, and a basketball autographed by the C’s captain. The winner will also receive cash to mitigate the tax liability.
Tickets are $2, with a minimum purchase requirement of five, and available online through 11 am on March 30. The winner will be chosen later that day.
The Truth Fund recently launched the Truth on Health Campaign to help encourage young people to lead healthier lifestyles, and encourages incorporating physical fitness and healthy eating into their daily lives, encouraging a commitment to be active for at least 60 minutes per day.
