At The Tinker's Son in Norwell, chef-owner Brian Houlihan successfully recreates the Irish Pubs of his homeland, pouring perfect pints, and serving hearty classics like lamb stew and bubbling shepherd's pie.
Dunn Gaherin's in Newton is a real-deal Irish pub and restaurant that's really serious about their cuisine.
Specialties include golden fish and chips with malt vinegar, and homestyle meatloaf.
Waxy O'Connors in Lexington and Foxborough has a cozy, come-as-you-are environment. The slow-cooked Beef Stew is a true taste of the old country.
