Jim O'Brien Talks Harvard Hoops With WBZ NewsRadio 1030

BOSTON (CBS) - The Madness is underway.

The NCAA tournament has begun, so WBZ's Drew Moholland took a few minutes to speak with Emerson Coach and former Boston College coach Jim O'Brien, who says there is no better time of the year for fans of college hoops.

"I think for those that are really into college basketball, this is what everyone looks forward to," said O'Brien. "This is a really good time to be a basketball fan."

With Harvard set to face Vanderbilt Friday afternoon in their first NCAA Tournament game in school history, O'Brien said it would be great to see Harvard advance and get a few tourney wins under their belt.

"I would love to see that... It's great for them, great for Tommy (Amaker), and how great would it be for them to win two games and then get to play in Boston? That would be phenomenal."

"I don't think it will happen, only because Vanderbilt is a very, very good team and I think Harvard has their work cut out for them."
