The deal is worth $12 million with a $3.85 million signing bonus, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Report: Patriots Interested In LaRon Landry
A seventh-round pick out of Utah in 2005, Fanene will give the Patriots some versatility on the defensive line as he played at both end and tackle for the Bengals. His signing could be bigger depending on what happens with free agents Mark Anderson and Andre Carter.
