BOSTON (CBS) — The Patriots might be bulking up in a big way at the safety position.
According to Yahoo! Sports’ Jason Cole, the Patriots have shown interest in free-agent safety LaRon Landry.
Landry, 27, made Internet headlines last month for a Twitter photo that showed the safety’s hulking figure.

He’s coming off two injury-plagued seasons, having only played nine games in 2010 and eight games last year. However, he made 90 tackles in those nine games in 2010, and he’s shown the versatility to make 5.5 career sacks and four career interceptions in his five years in the league.
