Holliston Girl Scouts Donate Survival Backpacks To Homeless Kids

HOLLISTON (CBS) Normally when we think of the girl scouts you think of cookies - really good cookies.

Well, they do other good work too.

The Holliston Girl Scouts recently raised $2,500. And the money went to fill 100 survival backpacks, which will be handed out to children that are homeless.

They raised the money by hosting a fashion show. They wore outfits they designed from recycled materials.

Great idea and wonderful cause.
