Futures At Fenway Scheduled For August 18
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox announced details for the seventh annual Futures at Fenway doubleheader on Friday.
The family friendly event will take place on Saturday, August 18 at Fenway Park, with the Red Sox single-A affiliate, the Lowell Spinners, and Triple-A affiliate, the Pawtucket Red Sox, taking the field.
The Spinners, making their fifth overall appearance at Futures at Fenway, will take on the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Single-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, at 1:05pm. Game two will have the PawSox, also making their fifth Futures at Fenway appearance, face off against the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets.
Tickets for the doubleheader will start as low as $5 for Bleacher seats and range up to just $30 for Green Monster Seats, Dugout Seats, the EMC Club and the State Street Pavilion Club. Discounted concession items will also be available.
Kids attending the games will be selected randomly throughout the day to participate in a number of activities including mascot races and other on-field experiences. Player autograph sessions will also take place for young fans at the ballpark.
