Tewksbury School Threat Brings Extra Police Patrols

TEWKSBURY (CBS) – Police will have extra patrols at the John Wynn Middle School Thursday after a student threatened to bring a weapon to school.

The student told police he only sent the text message to keep from being bullied.

No weapon was found at the student’s house, but officers will be at the school as a precaution.

My child went to this school for two years and both years I went to the principal and the assistant principal because of bullying, both times nothing was done. I don’t condone what this child did, it was wrong. I will say someone needs to investigate the Wynn and why they claim to support Rachel’s Challenge but they do nothing to prevent or address bullying when its brought to their attention.
