Record High Temperature For March 8 Recorded In Boston
BOSTON (CBS) - We have a new a record!
According to the National Weather Service, the temperature at Logan Airport hit 68 degrees at 12:54 p.m. Thursday, breaking the all-time record in Boston for March 8.

The record of 67 degrees was set in 1995.
It's also a windy day across the area, with the Blue Hills Observatory recording a high wind gust of 52 miles per hour early in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to cool down into the 40's on Friday and the 30's on Saturday.
Boston could hit 60 degrees again on Monday, though.
