CLINTON (CBS) – A suspicious envelope containing a white powder was found at Clinton Elementary School on Wednesday.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Lana Jones reports
The envelope was actually sent to the school on Tuesday, the same day that suspicious envelopes were sent to schools in two other Massachusetts towns and in New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine.
The FBI said they consider all of the cases to be linked.
No hazard was detected in a field test of the envelope in Clinton, according to Jennifer Mieth of the State Fire Marshal’s office. It was then sent to state lab for further testing, like the others.
The case is still under investigation.
