BOSTON (CBS) – The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux are facing some serious sanctions from the NCAA. According to a statement by the NCAA on Wednesday, the school will risk forfeiting any post-season games if the athletes, cheerleaders, or band wear or display the mascot image or nickname. Do you think this is a fair penalty? How does this case compare to the recent attempt to change the Massachusetts state seal? Should all mascots that refer to groups of people be banned?
