Military Brides Get Free Wedding Dresses
BOSTON (CBS) - More than a dozen military brides received free wedding gowns on Saturday.
Fashion students at Lasell College teamed up with Brides Across America teamed up to host the wedding dress giveaway at Goodwill Industries in Dorchester on Saturday.
All of the brides-to-be are either currently in the service, are engaged to members of the military, are recent veterans or engaged to recent veterans.

Their joint venture, Project Dream Dress gave brides-to-be a chance to choose from more than 100 designer gowns, at no cost.
Lasell College contributed the gowns, which were donated to them by an exclusive design house.
The one-of-a-kind gowns are valued between $1,000 to $8,000.
