Snow in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
PETERBOROUGH, N.H (CBS) – If you’re wondering where all the snow went, look north. The area in and around Peterborough, New Hampshire hit the jackpot with more than a foot of snow.
“It’s nice to be out here pushing snow,” said plow driver Alfred Sawyer.
At a nearby ski resort, managers were ecstatic. “This is priceless for us right now. You couldn’t have a more perfect storm in terms of timing,” said John Young, a sales manager at Crotched Mountain in Bennington, New Hampshire.
He hopes the fresh layer will help make up for the slow season. “We’re really happy to get some natural help with that, to remind people the fact that it ain’t over yet.”
