Wife Says Christy Mihos Is Addicted To Prostitutes, Porn Stars

By Kathy Curran, WBZ-TV

BOSTON (CBS) – Christy Mihos is known as the Brockton born businessman and outspoken Turnpike Authority member who made two unsuccessful runs for governor, but a report obtained by the I-Team exposes a man capable of death threats who is addicted to hiring women for sex.

According to his wife Andrea, money problems and allegations of an addiction to hiring prostitutes, strippers and porn stars for sex, fueled an argument that ended in a domestic assault last week near the couples’ oceanfront home in Stuart, Florida. The report states that during a fight in the car, Christy Mihos told Andrea she could, “easily disappear or be hurt or killed.” And when his wife began to record the fight on her iPhone Mihos grabbed it and threw it at her hitting her lip.

WBZ-TV’s Kathy Curran reports

The details paint a far different picture of the couple than what’s been in the public eye. In 2006 Mihos described a loving relationship from the start saying, “I just looked in her eyes, she looked at me and I was like whoa.”

But now after 38 years that marriage is struggling. Sources tell us Andrea Mihos also accuses her husband of having his illegal sexual trysts in three different states and paying $400 to $2,000 an hour for sex. The Florida case also revealed a prior alleged assault at the couples’ home in West Yarmouth last July, a case that Mihos will head to court for next month.

No charges will be filed in the Florida case because Andrea Mihos refused to co-operate with investigators there after initially going to Yarmouth Police for help. Her lawyer, Peter Lloyd, told a Florida detective that Andrea would not be making any further statements to law enforcement. Andrea Mihos flew home to the Cape the day after the assault and reported it police. Yarmouth police are seeking charges in their case.

Christy has been both a republican and an independent. Looks like He’s now a democrat. Or at least He’s acting like one. This is how Kennedy’s get their start.

Teddy Kennedy once leased a brothel in Chile, talk about sewing some wild oats….he sewed the whole ‘south 40’!

I guess he was researching south of the boarder ‘Foreign Aid’, his version of Theodore Teddy Roosevelt’s ‘Big Stick Policy’…..

Wrong. All politicians are suspect people regardless of political party. Funny how I know you’re not a democrat from your statement. Can’t face up to the reality that republicans really aren’t any better than democrats? Also, why is it that every democrat is compared to the Kennedys? If I was a democrat I’d be offended that one family of screw-ups dictated my character when I’ve nothing to do with them.

Let’s leave ‘Anthony Weiner’ out of this….

Sorry, but given our present pathetic Republican candidates we really should put the stones down and return to our glass houses. We’re in no position to critic this domestic mess or any other.

        We’re in serious trouble…

WOW, so I have a feeling that he’s the one with the hooker that they have a gag order on.

If I had the gigantic forehead of Cathy Curran and that face only a mother could love, I’d also do nothing but bust people for a living. Keep those gigantic horse teeth glowing Cathy. Gittyuupp!

“Her lawyer, Peter Lloyd, told a Florida detective that Andrea would not be making any further statements to law enforcement.” …

She will just be talking to any newspaper or tv station that will listen. The world we live in…

I am confused. I have been in the news/politics business for over 20 years and I fail to see one thing in this story that constitutes “news”. What someone’s EX says about them is hardly news. I really am ashamed of my profession every time I see a story like this. Whomever decided this was “newsworthy” would never be allowed to work for my newspaper, in fact, if one of my writers came to me with a story like this they wouldn’t be working for me for very long.
