Twenty-one-year-old Franco Garcia, a chemistry major, has not been seen since early Wednesday morning when he was out at Mary Ann's bar in Cleveland Circle with friends.

The State Police boat started searching the Chestnut Hill Reservoir Monday around 10:30 a.m. using side-scan sonar. Divers also went in.  They wrapped up the water search just before 3 p.m.  They're expected to go back in Tuesday.

A State Police helicopter conducted flyovers of the reservoir and surrounding area Sunday, but did not find anything of significance.

Family and friends say it is completely out of Garcia's character to cut off contact. Since he disappeared, there's been no activity from his cell phone or ATM card.

Garcia has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing jeans and a white-and-blue striped shirt.
