BOSTON (CBS) – Crews put out a small fire at Fenway Park on Monday morning.
The fire was contained to a mail room on the second floor in the administrative office area.
Workers at Fenway are assessing if water damaged any archival photos that were stored in the area of fire.
Crews originally responded to the scene at around 11:26 a.m. and put out the blaze in five minutes, Boston fire officials said.
Watch video:
The cause of the fire at Fenway was an electrical short circuit near a wall-mounted light fixture.
No injuries were reported.
Damage to the building, mostly due to smoke and water on the first and second floors, was estimated at $100,000.
