"I'm dying if I don't find my boy. I need him back," said Luzmila Garcia, Franco's mother.

Franco Garcia, a chemistry major, has not been seen since early Wednesday morning when he was out at Mary Ann's bar in Brighton with friends.

WBZ-TV's Jim Smith reports.

"We hope to find my son. I need all the help we can get from state police, Boston police, Newton police. Anyone who can help us, please do it," said Jose Garcia, Franco's father.

He has not shown up for class or work since.

"Someone saw something, hopefully this will get them to maybe come forward and say something," said one of Franco's friends.

On Sunday, the State Police helicopter spent about an hour hovering over the Chestnut Hill Resevoir, but didn't find anything significant.

Family and friends say it is completely out of Garcia's character to cut off contact. Since he disappeared, there's been no activity from his cell phone or ATM card.

State police, Boston College police, Boston police and Newton police are investigating.
