State Trooper Suspended Without Pay Over Domestic Abuse Charges

BRIMFIELD (CBS) - A State Trooper accused of attacking his wife has been suspended indefinitely without pay.

A State Police spokesperson said on Friday that 42-year-old Donald Pillsbury was informed of the decision following a duty status hearing.

Pillsbury, a trooper assigned to the K-9 Section, was arrested by State Police early Thursday morning in Brimfield for domestic assault and battery.

The State Police Internal Affairs Section has opened an investigation into Pillsbury and will also monitor his court case.
