“Ceia” means “supper” in Portuguese, and at Ceia restaurant in downtown Newburyport, owner Nancy Batista Caswell has created a modern menu inspired by her family’s classic recipes.
At “The Pasta House” in Fairhaven, Italian food is the primary focus. But one of the most popular items on the menu is the Portuguese steak pizza.

The Azorean Restaurant in Gloucester is an authentic Portuguese spot serving up large portions of home-style food like cod cakes, carne guizada, and the seafood paella cooked and served in a traditional cataplana that seals in all the flavors.
