Gronkowski Addresses Post-Super Bowl Dancing

BOSTON (CBS) -- We haven't heard much from Rob Gronkowski since his post-Super Bowl dance party in Indianapolis, but on Friday, he called in to a Philadelphia radio station and answered questions about his partying.

"Unfortunately, it just happened like that. It just is what it is," Gronkowski told Mike Missanelli on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia. "I have a lot of fun with my family and that was the first time I got to see them in a while. We're just having fun with my brothers and stuff and friends I haven't seen in a while. And the chance to hang out with LMFAO, that was pretty cool, too."

When asked if he understands where some upset fans and critics are coming from, Gronkowski said he did.

"Yes, definitely can see the fan's viewpoint but I'm 100 percent in every single game, every single practice, every single thing just to get out there on the field," Gronkowski said. "It was definitely a tough loss. I was hurting from it, everyone was hurting from it. You don't work that hard all year to get to the final year and lose. It just hurts, definitely.

"I just went on. I'm an easygoing kind of guy, I try and get over things as soon as possible," he added. "Life just moves on, you gotta look into the future. ... I just move on with my life very quickly and try to make the best of it."

The 22-year-old also said the sting of the Super Bowl loss has yet to leave him, which is only leading him to work harder in the offseason.

"You're never over it emotionally," he said of the loss to the Giants. "Every time people bring it up to you, every time you think about it, every time you see something in the paper or on TV about it, I mean, you're not over it emotionally. Deep down, it's just making me want to grind even harder this offseason. I'm in a cast right now and on crutches but I really can't really do anything right now, but as much as I possibly can be doing right now, I'm doing. I'm grinding just to get ready for next season."
