Belmont Mother Found Safe In New Hampshire Ski Area

HENNIKER, N.H. (CBS/AP) — A fire and rescue crew member has located a missing Massachusetts woman who wandered off from the Pats Peak ski area.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Laurie Kirby reports

Melanie Quinton of Belmont was spotted around 12:30 p.m. Monday walking near Bear Hill Road in Hillsborough. She had last been seen around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say Quinton suffers from mental illness and has a history of wandering off.

She was taken to Concord Hospital for evaluation.
