BOSTON (CBS) – Boston University hockey player Max Nicastro was arrested and charged with sexual assault early Sunday morning.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Doug Cope reports.

Nicastro, a junior, was accused of sexual assault by a female student and was arrested at around 6:30 a.m. The alleged assault occurred on the BU campus.

“Once we receive any information like this, we investigate all sides of allegations to see if there has been a violation of the code of student conduct, at which point further action may be taken,” said Kenneth Elmore, Dean of Students, in a statement.

Nicastro, who has three goals and six assists this season, has been suspended by the team pending the outcome of the investigation.

He is being held on $25,000 bail and will be arraigned Tuesday in Brighton District Court.

Boston University police and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office are investigating.

Earlier this season, star BU hockey player Corey Trivino was thrown off the team after he was charged with sexual assault.

I have the knowledge of Jack.. my explaination..

Statndard execution of mililitary indocrination policy of the Commander and Chief ~ Business as usual…

i.e. Excluding all inherent powers of authorization aligning with Presidential form of Civilian governing processes.

What a disgrace to the proud BU men’s hockey program. I think it’s past time for Jack Parker to step down if he cannot discipline his team enough to teach that it’s not ok to sexually assault women.

These two incidents, plus a player who beat up another person in a bar fight. Beat him good, injuries, was heading to court{?} What is going on there. Coach Parker once stated another school had put a black eye on hockey east due to some of their issues. People who live in glass houses………………..

Warriors throwing stones before they are turned to bread for the wine ? …

How many will sit in the jury docket to summon an act of merciless division and betrayal of the nation ~ before convicting themselves to escorting this stony warrior to the place of the prayerfully penitent prison builder?

To you that are without sin ~ join him in broad’cast’ing your first stones.

Looks like they have a BIG problem at B.U. This is not the first guy with a major problem!

Please may we view this young man as innocent until proven guilty?

    1. Julie the Jarhead says:

Yes, and please stop blaming others for the alleged actions of these players. Jack Parker’s a coach, not a babysitter.

Once again – it amazes me that the post the name and face of the accused before they do the homework to find out if it’s true. How many times have we seen that the girl did or said it because XY or Z. But it’s to late for the guy who in turn really becomes the victim. I’m not saying that it isn’t true – I’m just saying before the lives of these kids gets ruined how about some facts! you can accuse anyone of anything – it doesn’t mean they did it. Granted the # of accusations against this team as a whole makes one raise an eyebrow – but I still don’t just believe he’s guilty because he was accused of something. I’ve known many people that have been accused by someone of something and it was the psycho accuser that was making things up… Yes it was different people and the same accuser! Go figure.

How can you possibly blame the coach for actions taken by legal adults. Oh that’s right, you’re a bunch of blaming, self-righteous white liberal cowards.
