LITTLETON, N.H. (CBS) – Police in northern New Hampshire have posted a video of a chase on Facebook hoping it will help them catch a thief.

A man stole a pickup truck from Littleton Millworks late Friday night and it caught the eye of a Bethlehem police officer, who noticed the man was driving erratically.

When the officer tried to pull the truck over, it took off.

WBZ-TV’s Lauren Leamanczyk reports

A chase lasted several minutes and ended when the man crashed the truck into a tree.

He ran off and officers never caught him.

So, the Littleton Police Department posted the dashboard camera video of the chase on their Facebook page, hoping someone might recognize the man.

Anyone with information should call Littleton Police at 603-444-2422 or Bethlehem Police at 603-869-5811.
