BOSTON (CBS) – Born and raised in Cambridge, actress Jane Curtin is making her return to television on CBS.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Rod Fritz reports.

Curtin, who is remembered for roles on Saturday night live, Kate and Allie and 3rd Rock From The Sun, will have a recurring role on CBS’s “Unforgettable.”

She will be playing the medical examiner demoted to Queens.

“Every procedural drama needs a medical examiner and who best to be the medical examiner but moi,” said Curtin. “Boy, what fun to play her.”

Curtin loves her new character, calling her “feisty.”

“Unforgettable” can be seen Tuesday night on CBS.
