Store Clerk Hurt In Gunpoint Robbery In West Roxbury

WEST ROXBURY (CBS) - A convenience store clerk was hurt during an armed robbery Saturday morning.

Police say just after 5 a.m., a man held up the Tedeschi Convenience Store on Spring Street in West Roxbury.

The clerk told officers that the robber walked in, pulled a gun, and demanded money from the register.

The crook grabbed cash out of the register and knocked the worker to the ground.

The clerk suffered minor injuries, but declined any further medical treatment.

The clerk told police the suspect took off in a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

The suspect was described as a white man, mid 20s, about six feet tall, thin build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
