TAUNTON (CBS) – An arrest has been made in the case of a man who stole hundreds of dollars from a bank.
Investigators took 23-year-old Tyler Almeida of Taunton into custody Wednesday.
Police say he didn’t rob the Taunton Federal Credit Union, but stole a donation jar that was on a table in the lobby.
The nearly $900 inside was supposed to go to a local veterans group that was working to place small aluminum markers at the graves of every veteran buried in Taunton.
