BOSTON (CBS) — Many Red Sox fans were sad to see Heidi Watney leave NESN and the Red Sox telecasts, but they’ll have one last chance to say goodbye to their favorite TV personality.

Heidi Watney will participate in Saturday’s Project Cupid event, a night that will raise money for cancer care and research. A date with Watney will be auctioned off, along with auctions for sporting events, sports memorabilia and other prizes.

Watney left NESN at the end of the 2011 season after working as the team’s sideline reporter since 2008.
