Brothers Accused Of Setting False Alarms In Natick
NATICK (CBS) - Two Natick brothers accused of setting off false alarms over the past few weeks in their town are denying the charges.

Justin McCarthy, 23, and his 18-year-old brother Robert Laing are accused of pulling fire alarms across Natick. McCarthy is also charged with assaulting his brother and providing him with alcohol. He said he believes he's being targeted by police.
"There's police from the Natick Police Department that do not like me. I have an extensive record, but they do not like me, they have been kind of profiling on that," said McCarthy.
McCarthy said it would be very difficult for him and his brother to commit the crimes they've been accused of.
"The police have talked to me on another date about this. There have been multiple alarms around the town being pulled. I don't have a driver's license. I don't have vehicle. He doesn't drive. He doesn't have vehicle," McCarthy said.
Police, though, said they spotted one of the men pulling a fire alarm box this past Saturday night. McCarthy and Laing then allegedly fled on foot, and were caught a short time later.
They were released on their own personal recognizance after their arraignments Monday at Natick District Court.
