CONCORD (CBS) - A toddler was seriously injured and his mother and older brother were also hurt in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Concord.

Police say around 10 a.m., the mom was pushing her 20-month-old in a stroller across Winthrop Street at Commonwealth Ave. when an elderly driver came around the corner and crashed into them.

The woman's five-year-old son, who was riding his bicycle next to them, was also injured.

The mom and five-year-old were taken to Emerson Hospital.

The driver was also taken to Emerson Hospital. Police say after the initial crash, the car careened across a front lawn and into a small garage, knocking the garage off its foundation.

Investigators are still looking at what caused the accident but they say speed does not appear to be a factor.
