Fire Destroys Former Lumber Yard In Taunton
TAUNTON (CBS) - A former lumber yard burned to the ground overnight in Taunton.
The fire broke out around 11 p.m. on the second floor of the building on Hart Street.
Taunton Fire's District Chief Eric Dumont said trouble with one hydrant's water pressure made the situation worse.
"It was a tough one for me because I take it personally if we can't save the building or even get a good attack on it and save some of the structure," Dumont told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Kim Tunnicliffe. "The guys did a heck of a job They worked real hard just trying to get a water supply as well as setup apparatus and hose lines to battle the fire."

The building had been recently sold and was reportedly being rented.
