Winter In A State Of Lethargy

Quiet, quiet, all is quiet.

That's the forecast as we head into Super Bowl weekend and into the middle part of next week.

Check: Current Conditions | Weather Map Center | Interactive Radar

Today will be colder as highs hover in the middle and upper 30s.

Skies will be clearing early this morning allowing for a mostly sunny day.  A shortwave trough will induce partly to mostly cloudy skies tonight.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

With clouds acting as a blanket overnight, we will maintain temperatures in the 20s overnight.

Saturday will be be a sun-filled day, but high temps will be even a couple of degrees colder as we top off in the middle 30's.

Super Bowl Sunday will be partly sunny as an upper level trough slowly passes through the region.

A few flurries are not out of the question, especially for northern New England.  High temps will fail to reach 40F once again as thermometers will be reading in the middle 30s.

Early next week, we will return to the 40s for a couple of days.

Shhh...the peaceful weather sticks around through mid-week.

Enjoy!

Happy FRRRiday!  Go Pats!

~Melissa :)
