Ochocinco Wants To Return, Says "It Didn't Play Out" Like It Was Supposed To

INDIANAPOLIS (CBS) - He's been a six million dollar bust and he knows it. Chad Ochocinco has scored just one touchdown and has only 15 catches the entire season.

He may get a chance to step up Sunday in the Super Bowl, especially if Rob Gronkowski is not 100 percent.

WBZ-TV's Steve Burton asked him Wednesday if he wants to come back next season.

"F**k yeah," he answered. "Can I curse? Don't bleep it, I'm just being me."

So Chad wants back in, saying that anything bad that was said about his performance this year is just the public's opinion, and not a real problem.

"The New England Patriots is an elite organization where everything is in house and always stays in house," he says. "It's like Fort Knox, there are no leaks, there are no sources."

So could Chad be the secret weapon on Super Bowl Sunday against the Giants?

"They don't know what's going on behind closed doors, nobody does," says Chad.

A lot of the criticism in the media and among fans has been that Chad never fully grasped the Patriots system.

"It's no system, I'm extremely intelligent," Chad told Burton. "Life, the way I carry myself, the things I do, we can all see I have sense, you know I'm smart, it just didn't play out the way it was supposed to play out."
