Gronkowski Misses Patriots Practice Again

INDIANAPOLIS (CBS) - Rob Gronkowski has been saying all week that he's taking his ankle injury "day by day." For Wednesday, that meant sitting out of practice.

The tight end did not participate in Wednesday's practice as he recovers from the ankle injury he suffered against Baltimore in the AFC Championship Game.

"I feel better every day. That's the goal," Gronkowski said earlier on Wednesday. "That's the positive direction you want to be going. You want to be moving forward every single day. If you are going backwards, that's not good at all. I am feeling good every day. The rehab is going well. Everything is moving forward and we're on pace of just feeling better every day."

Offensive tackle Matt Light participated fully in the session after he was dealing with an illness earlier in the week.

In total, the Patriots listed 10 players as having limited participation, including Sebastian Vollmer, who is also battling through an illness.
