Mayors Menino, Bloomberg Make Super Bowl Bet

BOSTON (CBS) - There's a lot more on the line between the mayors of Boston and New York than some chowder when it comes this year's Super Bowl bet.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg agreed to a deal regarding the outcome of Super Bowl XLVI.

If the Patriots win, a Boston-area family will be treated to a trip to New York, complete with tickets to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, club seats to a Knicks or Rangers game and VIP tours of popular attractions like the Statue of Liberty.

If the Giants win, a New York-area family will be treated to a trip to Boston that includes dinner at the Top of the Hub and Legal Sea Foods, box seats for a show at the Citi Performing Arts Center, tickets to either a Bruins or Celtics game, a suite at the Ritz-Carlton and VIP tours of Boston attractions, like the Samuel Adams brewery in Jamaica Plain. The family will also take a photo with Mayor Menino.

An online drawing will determine the winner. Information about entering the drawing will be revealed after the Super Bowl.
