16-Year-Old Crashes In Weston After High Speed Pursuit

WESTON (CBS) - A 16-year-old male involved in a high speed chase with police, crashed off Route 128 in Weston.

State Police say the Westford teen was driving his mother's Volvo SUV and reached speeds of up to 95 miles per hour.

Authorities say he missed a court appearance today, and was wanted on a felony warrant for probation violation.

He was wanted for bringing an air rifle to school back in October.

Monday night he crashed into a guardrail but didn't get hurt.

The 16-year-old suspect will be held overnight without bail by State Police pending arraignment Tuesday. The juvenile's name was not released.
