Popular Roxbury Community Center Reopens After Extensive Renovation

BOSTON (AP) — Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is set to officially reopen the Shelburne Community Center in Roxbury following a $6 million renovation that shuttered the facility over the past nine months.

The 42-year-old facility is the second community center to celebrate completion of a major renovation in two months. Jamaica Plain's Curtis Hall Community Center re-opened in November.
