ATTLEBORO (CBS) Rescuers had their hands full on Saturday trying to save a stray cat that wound up stuck a tree on the Attleboro/Seekonk line.
On Friday morning, the cat somehow managed to scale its way about 60 feet up the tree, before finding itself stuck.
The cat spent some 30 hours dangling out of reach before a member of the Boston Animal Rescue League’s rescue team was able to climb the tree, grab the cat, and to bring it to safety.
The animal has since been taken to the Attleboro Animal Shelter, where it presumably will be checked out and possibly put up for adoption.
