Andrew McCann, 17, was killed in the crash.
NEW BEDFORD (CBS) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a car crash in New Bedford on Thursday morning.
Andrew McCann, 17, was killed when the car lost control near Exit 4 on Route 140. He was a plumbing student at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Other occupants in the car were Julian Reis and Jarell Ervin, who are both being treated at the hospital. Both are also students at the school.

State police aren’t sure what caused the crash, but troopers are planning to speak to the driver and the second passenger.
The school had counselors on campus all day Thursday and around 200 students took advantage.
Some of the students actually saw the accident on the way to school.
