EPPING, NH (CBS) – A dream came true for a young boy in New Hampshire Wednesday. Greeted by classmates and friends, 12-year-old David Morasco received a royal reception at the unveiling of a stately backyard castle.

Make-A-Wish New Hampshire built the expansive fort complete with suits of armor, spires and bridges in the town of Epping.

It was a gift for David who is suffering from a rare but aggressive tumor in his arm. After five surgeries he’s now in his second round of chemotherapy.

David actually designed the castle himself with the help of the builder.

“We put our heart and soul into all our wishes, but this one is a little extra special for us,” said Julie Baron of Make-A-Wish.
