DORCHESTER (CBS) – Boston firefighters had to battle snowy conditions at a fire in Dorchester on Saturday.
The fire broke out just before 1 p.m. at a two-story home on Gallivan Blvd.
It took less than an hour for crews to knock down the flames.
Six people living in the apartments were displaced by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The chief says the fire caused about $300,000 worth of damage.
Investigators say the fire appears to have started in a second floor bedroom. They are still looking at a possible cause.
