Former ABC News Reporter Ordered Not To Drive After Fatal Plymouth Crash
BOSTON (CBS) - Former ABC News reporter Bob Zelnick will be allowed to stay out on bail until his trial on vehicular manslaughter charges. However, a judge has forbidden Zelnick from driving.
The 71-year-old Zelnick was charged in connection with a crash in Plymouth that happened back in October.
Zelnick's car struck and killed 26-year-old Brendan Kennedy, who was on a motorcycle, at the intersection of Route 3 and Clark Road, near the Pinehills Golf Club.

Zelnick, who is currently a professor at Boston University, was issued a citation on misdemeanor charges of failing to yield to oncoming traffic and vehicular homicide.
Police have said alcohol wasn't a factor in the crash.
Zelnick is currently a professor at Boston University and a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
He spent 21 years at ABC News working for the network in Washington and Moscow.
Zelnick has been teaching at BU since September 1988.
